Owning VR gameplay and multiplayer on a product that has to stay up while it changes.

Live-service VR shooting-sports training built in Unity: headset-based marksmanship on virtual ranges. I joined at roughly 150 users and helped scale the product to almost 50,000 monthly users, shipping production features against a build that was always live.

  • Refactored major parts of the game from the ground up, for maintainability, performance, and day-to-day iteration speed across gameplay, UI, and VR/XR systems
  • Photon PUN multiplayer, VR interactions, customizable weapons, projectile behaviour, player-facing UI, and internal gameplay tooling
  • Editor workflows, 3D assets, materials, and technical-art pipeline support, so engineering, art, and product could iterate faster on production-ready content
  • Unity client integration with Bubble services, and support for the Bubble-to-AWS migration: subscriptions, user management, and API integration
